Network Share Creation

HA Cluster supports variety of network share protocols.

Should one of the nodes fail, the other working node will automatically take over the shares and ensure business continuity.

Following protocols are supported : SMB/CIFS, NFS and AFP

You can create a share via “Data Management” – “Shares” – “Create Share”

Select cluster drive

Select name, size and the protocols (SMB/CIFS, NFS oder AFP)

After the creation you can see your share in the share management. Via “Share Access Control” or “User Icon” next to the share you can define who is allowed to access this share. You can assign local or active directory users and groups.

Share will always run on the node on which the cluster drive is currently active
