Analysis Dashboard

With analysis tools, you can monitor the performance of your servers in real time, finding and eliminating bottlenecks.

The following values are displayed

Load Average

Load Average shows the current load of the server. It shows the average value of the processes waiting for the CPU or being processed.
3 average values show the averages of the past 1 minute, 5 minutes and 15 minutes.

There is no “good or bad value” as it depends on system performance and how much a system can handle at the same time. From our experience, one should look more closely at the system should the values last well beyond 15

Disk I / Os

This value shows how many I / O accesses the system is currently processing. The faster the hard drives the higher the values.

IO Wait in %

IO Wait is also a very important value – this shows how much time (in percentage) the CPU waited for the disk operations. Certain waiting times are normal – but the higher the value the more the system is overloaded.

Disk statistics

Especially in the virtualization and cluster environment, it is important that the drives respond to requests as quickly as possible. That’s why we recommend Enterprise SSD / NVMe drives or SAS.

If a drive gets overloaded by requests, latencies will increase – this is why this values should be monitored – if it rises above 1 second, it could negatively impact the system balance
