Prerequisites

Before starting the installation, it is assumed that the underlying infrastructure and access to the server are already in place and working. Access to the server should be available via a remote management interface (e.g. iLO, iDRAC or equivalent), or direct console access where required. Installation is performed using an ISO image, so the ability to mount and boot from virtual or physical media is mandatory.

If you do not already have the installation image, then the latest installation images can be downloaded from https://euronas.com/

The euronas operating system must be installed on a dedicated system disk. It is recommended that this is configured as a RAID 1 pair, with a minimum capacity of 256 GB to accommodate the OS, logs, and system-related data. This disk should not be used for application or user data.

All data disks should be present and visible to the system prior to installation, with any controller configuration (hardware RAID or pass-through mode) already completed.

Initial physical network configuration should also be in place. This includes defined IP addressing, DNS, and gateway configuration aligned to the target environment.

DHCP can be used during initial deployment to obtain an address, however the system should be moved to static IP configuration as part of the setup process.

Where multiple interfaces are used, network design (including bonding, VLANs, and traffic separation) should be defined in advance to ensure consistency during deployment.
